Policy on Submissions

Note: Our letter to the editor system is currently experiencing some difficulties. If you experience an error, you can send letters directly to letters@dailypennsylvanian.com. Thanks for bearing with us while we transition to a new site.

The Daily Pennsylvanian welcomes comments from the University community in the form of guest columns and letters to the editor.

All letters and columns submitted for publication must include the author's name, phone number and a description of University affiliation. The Daily Pennsylvanian attempts to verify the authorship of any letter considered for publication by contacting the letter writer. Please include a phone number at which you can be reached after 8pm.

Letters should be shorter than 200 words. Letters submitted in person, by mail or by fax should be printed legibly or typed double-spaced.

The Daily Pennsylvanian reserves the right to condense all letters and columns. All letters and columns submitted to The Daily Pennsylvanian become the property of The Daily Pennsylvanian and may be published in any medium or form. All submissions are subject to editing for style, clarity and space concerns.
