Robbery

Jan. 18 - John Williams, 56, no address available, was arrested by the Penn Police for allegedly forcibly attempting to leave the CVS on 34th and Walnut streets without rendering payments for items at about 10:40 a.m.

Assault

Jan. 18 - Christine Rogers, 28, of the 2400 block of Glenwood Ave, was arrested for allegedly becoming aggressive with a parking-enforcement agent after being issued a parking violation at about 5:25 p.m.

Narcotics

Jan. 20 - William Hagans, 21, of the 1600 block of S. Newkirk, was arrested for allegedly having several baggies of a white powdery substance in his possession.

Theft

Jan. 18 - A female University employee reported that an unknown suspect broke the rear passenger-side window of her vehicle and took a bag and other various items at the parking garage at 40th and Walnut streets at about 9 a.m.

Jan. 18 - A male student reported that an unknown suspect removed his wallet and other items from an unsecured locker at Pottruck, located at 37th and Walnut streets, at about 5 p.m.

Jan. 19 - Keith Remer, 35, of the 4800 block of Mascher St., was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly leaving Fresh Grocer, located at 40th and Walnut streets, without rendering payment for items at about 10:15 a.m.

Jan. 21 - James Wade, 32, of the 5300 block of Lebannon St., was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly leaving the Penn Bookstore, located at 36th and Walnut streets, without rendering payment for items at about 10 a.m.

Jan. 22 - Jonathan Joseph, 18, of the 7000 block of Reedland St., was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly taking cash from a back room at the AT&T store, located at 37th and Walnut streets, between 6:15 and 7 p.m.

Jan. 22 - A female University employee reported that an unknown male removed her bag from an unsecured office at the Lauder Institute, located at 256 S. 37th St., at about 5:30 p.m.

Jan. 22 - A male student reported that an unknown suspect removed his secured bicycle from a bike rack outside of Harrison College House, located at 3910 Irving St.

Jan. 23 - Wharton junior Samuel Tell, 20, of 4000 block of Spruce Street, was arrested by Penn Police for allegedly leaving Fresh Grocer without rendering payment for items at about 6:50 p.m.
