Burglary:

Aug. 20 - A male student, 21, reported that an unknown suspect entered his secured apartment on the 4000 block of Baltimore Avenue through a rear door and removed his laptop at 9:56 a.m.

Aug. 22 - A male student, 25, reported that someone attempted to enter his residence on the 200 block of 42nd Street through an open window at 12:09 p.m. but subsequently fled in an unknown direction.

Theft:

Aug. 18 - A woman unaffiliated with the University reported that she left her pocketbook unattended at Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center and that it had been taken by an unknown suspect at 11:14 a.m.

Aug. 18 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 29, reported that at 3:36 p.m. an unknown suspect broke the window to her vehicle in a parking garage and removed a GPS device that was left in plain sight.

Aug. 20 - Unknown suspects were reported to have left American Apparel at 5:26 p.m. without paying for merchandise valued at $500.

Aug. 20 - A laptop was reported to have been taken from an unsecured office in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 2:26 p.m.

Aug. 20 - A male student, 28, reported that an unknown suspect took a laptop from his secured office at the Psychology Labs at 10:19 a.m.

Aug. 21 - A man unaffiliated with the University, 19, reported that an unknown suspect took his laptop and other personal items at 5:22 p.m. on the 4000 block of Spruce Street.

Aug. 21 - A female student, 20, reported that her bicycle, valued at $750 and secured with a chain lock, was stolen from the 200 block of 41st Street at 3:10 p.m.

Aug. 21 - A female student, 26, reported that at 4:03 p.m. credit cards and cash were taken from her handbag at the Penn Bookstore.

Aug. 22 - A female University employee, 45, reported that at 9:58 a.m. several credit cards were stolen from her purse at the Penn Tower Hotel.

Aug. 22 - A man unaffiliated with the University reported that at 1:19 a.m. his unsecured bicycle was stolen from the Fresh Grocer lobby.

Aug. 23 - A female student, 22, reported that an unknown suspect removed her wallet from her unsecured backpack at Cosi Restaurant at 1:30 p.m.

Aug. 23 - At 12:23 p.m. cash was reported missing from a deposit bag at McDonald's on 40th and Walnut streets.

Narcotic:

Aug. 22 - Iraheen Mills, 18, unaffiliated with the University, was arrested on the 100 block of 41st Street for alleged possession of crack cocaine.

Vandalism:

Aug. 22 - A male student, 24, reported that someone cut the convertible top to his vehicle, parked on the 4100 block of Locust Street, at 8 a.m.
