Burglary

Sept. 4 - A female student, 20, reported that someone entered her unsecured room on the 3900 block of Spruce Street and took her laptop at about 7 p.m.

Sept. 3 - A female student, 21, reported that someone entered her unsecured room on the 4000 block of Pine Street and took her laptop at about 11 a.m.

Sept. 2 - Shawn Jones, 34 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested around 9 a.m. for allegedly entering Johnson Pavilion without authorization.

Sept. 2 - A male student, 21, reported that someone entered his unsecured residence on the 3900 block of Pine Street and took a laptop and camera a little after 9 a.m.

Sept. 2 - Someone broke into an office at the Penn Humanities building and stole various electronics at about 9:15 a.m.

Theft

Sept. 4 - A female University employee, 28, reported that someone stole credit cards from her wallet at Steinberg-Dietrich Hall at about noon.

Sept. 4 - Joseph McSwain, 37 and unaffiliated with the University, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. for allegedly attempting to leave Fresh Grocer without paying for merchandise.

Sept. 4 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 53, reported that someone stole her unattended bag a little after 3 p.m. from Steinhardt Hall.

Sept. 4 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 48, reported that someone broke into her room at the Inn at Penn at about 6 p.m. and took her wallet.
